I presume you mean buy & sell limit orders?
These are used to action a price when it reaches a certain
level. ie I used a system a while back which called for pivot
point calculations at the close of the day.
When calculated a determination was made as to where the
pivot, S1 & R1 would be, a buy & sell limit order was then
positioned on the S1 & R1. So if the price went north, the buy
order was activated with TP & SL all added. The reverse if it
went south.
If you cannot watch the charts all the time but you have
calculated that a certain pair will go in either direction, set
a buy or sell limit order to action at a certain price.
