Two short trades closed profitably today.
Previously, I used to increase my position size in a sequence of trades, e.g. if I closed one trade profitably
and the pair was trending, I would re-enter with a bigger position.
Now I am taking a more conservative approach to risk - based on how much damage I have done
using this approach - and when I close one trade I would open a second one using half of the previous
one’s size. This way I put less risk on and give the second trade more room to breathe in case momentum
All this works okay, like trailing stops, in a trending environment… it would bomb in a choppy/directionless
