Then who do you use. I have been looking for a broker that will send the money straight to my debit card. Right now I have to wait for a check to come in the mail. Not a big deal but I dont care for paper checks
I usually pay for little sum with paypal.
Personally i hate Paypal and yes like Joe Fx said they won’t allow withdrawl of large amounts.
Told ya, thats babyPips for ya,
Pick up spoon, dip in dog poo, flingggggg…
PayPal and similar websites will limit transfers to a few thousand dollars before you have to provide documents.
Cos it’s fast. It’s fast. Less than 1 day maybe around an hour or less the funds show up in my account.
My broker is Oanda. It’s quite well known and reputable. They accept credit card and internet bank transfers too and no bank transfers don’t take more than a day. Your country is germany well i’m in singapore and oanda has a singapore bank account but it took around 3 days to complete the transfer.
The thing about paypal is almost everyone is using it. The rest like moneybookers, netteller aren’t widely used and moneybookers is considered a gaming site in my country cos many gambling sites use moneybookers but i still am able to withdraw money from it to my bank a/c but let’s get back to it again.
Paypal is so widely used everywhere. Most vendors use paypal and not another e wallet site. you can check and you’ll see that so many forex brokers use paypal as a means to fund them. This really is a legititmate concern cos forex involves large sums of money.
Yup i checked it already. It’s a new ruling by singapore that once you made 7k in transcations you need to provid ID and bank statements and all the type of BS. That’s no problem cos i already have my ID and passport scanned unto the pc and all. The issue is the amount of time and other type of BS paypal might come up with and i have read on the stories from various ppl.
Paypal will take at least a week to transfer into your bank account.
What’s wrong with doing a typical money wire? Have you declared bankruptcy?
one week is a bit long. i guess it depends on where you are and when (what time) you requested a withdrawal.
so many people are negative here and waste few seconds of my time reading their non-benefiting words…
It’s ok, i’m fine.
I’m am looking for brokers with paypal wiothdrawal too, now that I see the possibility, anyway, I’ll keep a point to see if they become a hassle after $7k.
Anyway, it takes 2-3 business days to my bank account. Usually 2 days, I’ve been keep tab on it bros.
Stop giving out comments like “You are going to lose all your money before transferring into paypal,” please grow up already!
Oh, ever heard of instant withdrawal?
[From their site : The term “Instant” shall be understood to mean that a transaction is carried out within a few seconds without manual processing by financial department specialists]
You guys need to get out there and explore ok
Oanda accepts PayPal.
sooner or later paypal will screw you over !
PayPal Complaints, PayPal Customer Service & eBay Suspension Complaints
Yup! PP will screw you over, just give them some time. Believe me, we have all done the PP jig and ended up losing our money, for reasons known only to the PP management. Since most brokers do allow you to wire funds, transfer funds from cc, you may want to opt for that format since it is safer…
Or use MB
They need guarantor in my country, so much hassle for another person, so I skipped them. Hassle only me, and as far as possible, don’t hassle me.
Blah blah blah, I have already got screwed once, my paypal account has un-froze, so freeze me again. I don’t have the scared-to-try mentality, I have the Can’t-Wait-To-Fall-On-My-Face mentality…
edit I don’t mean to offend you but it’s my time to try, don’t load $50,000,000 in one go, I’ll try little by little and test the limit. You know the deal.
Thank you for your suggestion, I’ve tried both CC and MB, time now for PP.
I have use PP for long time, and I have found no problem. As i never use my account to connect with ebay.
oh, you’re the one who didn’t have a negative experience. I knew there had to be one out there somewhere.
Search for paypal on the better business bureau. Over six thousand complaints. Over two thousand in just the last 12 months and that’s probably just the tip of the iceberg. So with that many complaints how do they manage to have an A+ rating? It probably helps to have a shill on the bbb board of directors. One of those 6,000 complaints is mine. closed means closed to paypal’s satisfaction, not the customers satisfaction!
I know this is a resurrected thread, but i thought i’d give my experience. Prior to using PP i had to bank wire to the brokers as i was offshore trading. But since then, i have used PP. I use my bank account associated with PP, not a credit card. I withdraw once each month, because i get one free withdraw from my broker a month. Then $15 thereafter. It is quick and seamless, I withdraw to PP and from PP i put it into my attached Bank account. Generally 3 days total. Bank to Bank wires took much longer. In my case. As for limit, it is up PP how much they will allow. I don’t withdraw any more than 5 digits at a time. I love PP, i do much of my international money transfers/purchases with them, but i also have MB.
There should be no problem with paypal at all - you need to increase your limits before you start forex trading (by confirming your bank account) but after that it is relatively plain sailing.
