Well, you have a good mentor as your Dad, because you will learn from him whether he is successful or not. Experience is key. So is emotional control. Just try and protect your account all the time. Do not rush into crypto currencies - you could get burnt trying to make quick money.
IMO, it’s more fun for young (and older) people to trade Indices from European opening to USD close, because there’s plenty of daily action ideal for scalping. That is, DAX, FTSE, DOW & NASDAQ. I just love the clarity and simplicity using Heiken Ashi candles.
That is good to see you have a family member who is also into trading. Is he your mentor or are you planning to learn everything on your own?
Make sure you bend your dad’s ear as his experience will be invaluable to you starting out.
