Hi all,
I am studying the school of pipsology and I have come across the following notion:
(How to Trade Breakouts in Forex - BabyPips.com )
Volatility, Not Volume
You’ll notice that unlike trading stocks or futures, there is no way for you to see the volume of trades made in the forex market.
In MT4 trader you can see the volume if you right click on the chart and select it. Or is that something else, like volatility?
Kind regards, AM

I’m thinking this means the forex market as a whole. You only get data on your one broker, not the majority of them anyway.

Thanks dude bro, dudebro . Makes sense, I totally forgot that it’s a decentralized market.

No problem. I know volume strategies have come up every now and then. Do a search, I think “VSA volume” might get you to some old threads using volume indicators for your broker. I might be totally off though on that search term.
