Weekly Discussion: What are you looking forward to this week? 🎉 (July 2 - 7)

It’s still hot as a champ but hey, I don’t mind the upcoming holiday! For those of you in the U.S., what are yall’s plans for July 4th? Lots of family time for me so that’s definitely what I’m looking forward to.

What about you?

What are you looking forward to this week?

As always, hope you didn’t miss out on Forex Gump’s Forex Market Preview for this upcoming week!

Last week only 9 of the 28 significant forex pairs behaved “normally”. That is, if they started the week below the 50EMA, normal would be a price fall, and if they started the week above the 50, normal would be a price rise.

This week I’m looking forward to at least 20 normal pairs…

boris johnson as PM. brexit so far was a hillarious show of incompetence, but im confident that boris will top everything seen so far.

or is that next week? not sure, but i cant wait.

Trade review. Actually, more like losing trade review…

And maybe start scoping out another strategy or tweak the system I’m using now.

Congratulations on your violent Rebellion against the excesses of the UK and your protestations of “No Taxation without Representation” !

Nearly 250 years later, we (in the uk) know how you felt !

on Thursday I shall crack a bottle of Bourbon with you and toast the foresight of your “Founding fathers” in respect of your Constitution and Amendments. :sunglasses:

So far you are definitely the most successful of our ex-Colonies and I wish you all the best for your continued fight for “Life Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”.

I happen to have a glass (Rum) handy so I’ll raise an early glass to you now !

Enjoy your Freedom !

Rum on a Tuesday night? We like the way you roll! Thanks for the cheers and we’ll raise a glass to you as well in hopes that… well, Brexit doesn’t screw things up too much. Good luck and cheers!

 I come from a different time !

  • You can probably tell that from the fact that I bought 35 Kilos (77lb) of sugar a couple of days ago and that with some other ingredients will make 30 Gallons (imperial) - about 37 gallons (US) of decent “drinking” wine in a couple of months or so. Much more to “put down” as the fruits on the hedgerows start to ripen. - Booze is something we don’t have to go short of !

Similarly with brexit - we are Brits ! - we shall “improvise, adapt, overcome !” - But I’ll not clog this thread up with that stuff - I’ll start a different thread later

Got to go now and “learn some lines” - rehearsal coming up !

Not exactly “me” but Mrs F got a message from her daughter earlier who had just got off the plane at Grenoble. She and her own neice are going to climb Mt Blanc - as soon as the weather permits ! So looking forward to a “de-brief” when they get back :sunglasses:

Never thought I’d post on one of these threads but now I’m curious:

How is “this week” defined as being July 2 - 7??? That’s Tuesday to Sunday??? What happened to Monday???

Well that’s a thought that should help cool me down in this hot weather!

Dale asking all the right questions! Ha. Well I just figured, since I already posted it on a Tuesday, what’s the point in including Monday??? That and @eddieb is also on to something!

In the end we were 12 out of 28 this week. I suppose a week with the 4th July holiday on Thursday leading into a light trading day on Friday, plus NFPR’s, was never going to lead to a determined performance.

Hoping for better next week.

An improvement is better than nothing! And yes, the last 2 days of this week is likely the culprit. We’ll bring this over to the next week and I’ll be there with you hoping for better numbers! Hope you’re enjoying your weekend, @tommor!

I’ll think about it. Ha. Just kidding. You better have something real good to look forward to!
