can you put the year next to the date it helps with older posts. thanks

Hello nankwe,

The year is actually visible if it’s not the current year. Often times, you’ll also have the option to place your mouse/cursor over a date or time to get a full view of the timestamp.

Here are some examples of how the year is displayed for older posts in various places:

Forums Homepage Latest section which shows the first post and last post timestamp

Fonts have this interesting way of completely breaking new designs and layout, even with subtle changes. Often, with such a change, line height also needs to increase. And Discourse has so many elements that could be affected by those changes, it’s something we couldn’t do with this release. Now that the new design has been released, we can spend more time testing fonts across the different screen sizes using the new design. Thanks for the feedback.

New redesign looks amazing, Hope that sometime in the future you bring some sort of dark mode

For what it’s worth, have you tried zooming in the browser? It might break some elements on the screen, but would help readability. On most browsers you can hit Ctrl + or Ctrl - to zoom in and out. Kind of a simple workaround for the time being. :slight_smile:
