Did you spend too much time on social media?
I’m glad that you are still working on your goals!

Yes, but that’s not the Majority of the problem.
My trading days last between 8 and 16 hours a day, so I cannot devote 100% of 12 hours a day to my goals and plans, but I can work on my goals and plans when I wait for a trade setup instead of spending that time on social media or YouTube.
I also have the weekend to work on those goals and plans, major plus
Interesting !
Happy to see your post, It’s always enjoyable to see your post.
Classic answer from most people here: To get rich, buy oneself a mansion, to buy oneself a car, to keep all their wealth for themselves. One person mentioned to help the poor while at the same time being rich and owing everything.
As for me, I have no desire to be rich but I have every intention of being the CEO of google or some top tech company, I also intend to be the owner of the best video game company in the world and make the best video games. At the same time, I intend to be the head of a major university, after teaching computer science.
My father is already highly successful at the top of the pile. Professor and chancellor of the biggest university in his country. He is so famous that he deals with all the big people, including the country’s president, and he is allover the media, and on wikipedia. One thing though, he is not rich.
That’s a cool answer. The only pushback is that you are allowing other people to stop your goals by wanting to be the CEO of their companies.
I want to keep learning, help others, and find balance in life. My goals are to grow professionally, travel, and build meaningful connections along the way.
Yeah, social media and youtube are fun. But time flies much faster on those sites.
I, also, used to spend too much time on youtube. Those sites are designed to keep you there.
It’s funny how that works. I can spend 12 hours looking for my trade setup, and it feels like 12 days slow and boring, but I can go to YouTube, and 12 hours feel like 12 minutes.
Yup. That’s their game. They don’t care if you accomplish anything.
They just want you to spend hours and hours watching video after video.
My ambition is to find Harry Potter world where I fly the car in real!!
let us know the day you discover Harry Potter World, No updates are required in the meantime.
I wonder if he means Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, or Harry Potter World the theme park?
Because one of them will be much harder to find than the other.

I don’t think “Wadsworth” here is talking about dreaming! He is talking about hard, persistent work
Big ambitions are fine…but big dreams?
Dreaming and planning are very different things. Often one will wake up from a dream just by falling out of bed… in the meantime, sleep on, sweet dreams
The title of this thread asks about “Life Ambitions, Goals And Plans” and these are great objectives to consider…and reconsider and reconsider. This is a process uniquely intrinsic to being a human.
We have both the ability to look forward and to evaluate and change accordingly. Sometimes we may keep the same goals but change the plan. Sometimes we may keep the plan but change the goals. Sometimes we may even see the need to change it all and start over.
The point is we see and - act on what we see.
The world is full of “smart” memes etc exhorting us never to give up, like this one:
but without the plan, without the assessment, without the evaluation, we may just dream on like this, getting nowhere, for ever more:
To achieve success, your passion for succeeding must surpass your fear of failing.
