What dates of COT reports to use for the analysis?

Hey guys, there are like three questions on my mind now,
Firstly, I see some sites with COT reports updated every day while some others have COT reports updated weekly. From my understanding and also lessons on baby pips, COT reports come out weekly, every Tuesday so I don’t understand the sites with reports updated every day.

Secondly, I will like to know if I should use for example the reports of the last two weeks to trade this week because i saw in a video that it takes some time for these reports to actually have an effect in the market. So it could take weeks for the current report to have effect.

Thirdly, please which of the reports should I use for analysis, is it the hedgers reports or the non-commercial reports?

COT Report Question

Use the index calculation from Larry William’s book and then tweak it to your liking. If you can get really comfortable with the data, you’ll know what to index or derive but Larry William’s book gives some good ideas.

They’re all pretty dated so I’m not sure why COT these days isn’t brought up or talked about as much.
