What does the term ‘bullish’ mean?

Keep seeing people talk about a ‘bullish’ movement?

PS - system generated warning that the text above is too similar to one I recently posted (to answer your other School of Pipsology question).

At the same time, if you know how to do a search in a browser - just search for the term “bullish” and you will know inside of 10 seconds.

Google search = characterized by rising share prices

I’d really recommend getting on The School of Pipsology, here on the BabyPips site - just look at the header click “Education” and you’ll find your way in.

That said, Bullish refers to an upwards movement - you may hear things like:
“It has started a bullish trend”
“The bullish movement is coming to an end”
“The bulls are in control”

But yeah, read more about it on the School.

When they say that a trader is bullish, they mean that a trader is believing that the price of a security will increase from where it currently is.

A belief that price is set to move in an upward direction.

There’s a forexpedia section here you can also look up common trading terms there.
