What is the fundamentals knowledge for begginers

Hi, all, i am kinda new in trading and my english is a little rusty so sorry if you can´t understand what i wrote.

my question is simple: what is the fundamental knowledge that a trader need, im not talking about the basics, i know what forex and commodities is, i am talking about more specialized knowledge

I have experience trading (loosing) and for that i am taking it seriously now, i have academic formation, i underestand economy (not an expert to, but i am not a noob either), i understand the theory of financial markets and i have a lot of knowledge about politics (political science degree), but i still feel like i am doing this without a clue.

I tried Technical analysis, but i feel like i was making a pollock painting more than a serious analysis, i tried a more fundamental aproach and work better but still i feel lost.

So any help or advice… or even a good luck salute will be apreciated

Decide what you need to know before you set out to learn it. This might sound odd - how can you know what you need to know before you know it? But without a plan of your objectives you could spend the rest of your life studying: you risk missing the knowledge which would help you make a profit: you will definitely learn stuff which doesn’t help and which just costs you time and energy.

Let your strategy point you towards what you need to know. Use a trade journal to help here. Avoid any training courses which offer to teach you “everything you need to know”: they actually mean to teach you everything they wish to sell.

Uncover why your losing trades lost. Understand why your winning trades did not lose. discover the trades you decided not to take and why you avoided them, and whether that was right or wrong. You can never know too much about your own strategy, but you can afford to ignore many knowledge areas of finance.

On point. I like to think I’ve spent the last 3 years since discovering forex, just, you know, “discovering”.

I want to do more and, I think your approach pretty much sums it up tommor.

Every trader should go for earning knowledge first rather than starting live trading directly. Traders mostly prefer jumping onto trading which is not good for them. So focus on earning knowledge as much as possible.
