I’m a noob, I wouldn’t dream of mentoring anyone but you can read my journal as that has most of the info on it. You can learn from my mistakes, there are lots!
ok i will do that. thank you
Good to know. I’ll check my stats for my PF.
Yea, good you have a goal, something to work to.
Wouldn’t weekly or monthly make more sense?
Monthly might, if you have an appreciable number of trades, Most people will need quite a few months’ figures, even so, to achieve statistical significance.
This is why backtesting (even though it’s almost never 100% reliable) is so very important.
Anything less than “monthly” isn’t very helpful, really, unless perhaps you’re a scalper.
i dont agree with you. an average figure is convertible
How do you want to trade? Day trading, scalping, swing trading? No point asking for someone to mentor you who doesn’t trade the same way.
Don’t ask anyone on this forum, or any forum to mentor you based on average returns unless it’s over several years. I could have shown you a huge winning account when I started, but I blew 3 accounts after that. It’s not about big returns, entirely about discipline.
I’m in week 8 of an 8-week experiment on a Strat I have been working on for a while. I came to Babypips to learn additional nomenclature and have a place to hang out with other like-minded individuals. While I have no interest in Mentoring, I share as much as I can in my Journal. Feel free to visit.
This looks like the guy you need? He’s making 17% per month with low risk. Would that be good enough for you?
