Ive been on here and researching into forex trading for a while.
Ive recently started demo trading now i have a few weeks to try different things.
One of the main things ive had a problem, is news. What news shall i look out for to tell me not to trade… etc.
Ussualy ive made a decent % return on my balance in the past few weeks but this week its most likely going to be a loss. Ive noticed the market hasnt moved as much as recent weeks.
Ive been trying to research why but im running in circles.
Could it be because of the US unemployment rate/NFP coming out Friday? and the lack of confidence in Europe/China economic growth causing people to not trade?
If anyone can help with a list of news i should look out for and trade/not trade or help me in the right direction it would be perfect! Thank you
This is time frame dependent. I trade off daily charts and pay no mind to news. I do however react to the overall direction price moves due to news. I just never attempt to guess what the outcome of news will do to price.
This might just be a result of my strategy, but I don’t believe that Fundamentals affect a whole week of data. Sure, it might result in slow movement for 2-3 hours prior, but I’ve never had to completely disregard a week because of a fundamental release.
Some traders used “news trading strategy” combined with break out trading system in their trading. Personally, I didn’t trade using news release method.
Just ask uncle google with term “amazing forex trading method filetype: pdf” and you’ll find one of these trading methods.
