Sorry my bad english, i can’t write much there.

I just have sample question for everyone : What to do when losting more than 50% your balance?

I mean 50% balance of a real live account, not demo account.

You will continue to trade or withdraw ?

I would definitely advise you to demotrade for a couple of months before you go live.

Find out how you would like to trade and demotrade that strategy. If you are profitable for quite some time then go ahead and live trade.

Probably withdraw and go back to demo for now. Analyze each one of your losses individually. See if you can see a consistent trend as to why you’re experiencing these losses and try to fix it. You can later get into analyzing all your trades, working on a system to give you positive expectancy, etc. but first thing is to identify what’s causing you the losses and to try to minimise their occurrences.

Analyze what you did wrong. If you get it, continue. If you do not get it, withdraw your money.

In seriousness, with a 50% drawdown, at least one of these three are definately in play which would mean you shouldn’t be trading live:

  1. YOU are not excercising your trades correctly
  2. YOUR SYSTEM/STRATEGY isn’t working
  3. YOUR MONEY/RISK MANAGEMENT is poor
