What's your Forex account life span

Hello financial market traders, hope business is going fine? I have been doing a lot of demo trading recently and I have also been observing great market traders from South Africa, they inspire me alot. I have traded on a live account too and it seems my emotions and logical reasoning are in good alignment with my Forex journey so far, I’m enjoying every bit of the process.

On to the subject, I don’t know how vaild this reasoning will be but I see some sense in it. The reasoning is based on the life span of Forex traders. What is your Forex account life span? I did some calculations recently and discovered that Forex traders who risk 1% of their trading capital has 100 trials to make things right, they basically have a Forex life span of 100 lives. How about those who risk 2%? 10%? 2% traders has 50 lives and 10% traders has 10 lives. I think it will be more considerate if we look at it this way. Till we meet again.

Hard one to answer , my rule is a max of 2% but have an ave of .8% per trade and being profitable full time trader for the last 5 years.

Its all about selecting the right trade rather than chasing the market

Just to correct this. It is 1% of the trading account. Eg 1% of 100k is 1k. But if you lose 10 trades then 1% of 90k is 900. So you’ll have loads more than 100 lives. Even more so if you keep strictly to 1% of the account everytime you lose. This is how to stay in the game and how I’ve been profitable for years.
