How to start trading
Hi and welcome start from the education section. Regards Greg
It is hard to say which trading platform is better than the other one. It’s all about finding the one that works for you. If you think that the platform that works for your friend will work for you as well, you better be careful. It’s your own journey and you will do well only when you know what you are doing.
have you finished any kinds of basic level ? if not you should start with psychology of school which is the mainly considered as a best place fro education.
Mt4 and Mt5 are universal platforms, easy to learn and use. You can trade with any of them. But the platform also depends on personal preference so check which one suits you better.
First of all you must register with a Forex broker. I use Forexchief. Secondly, download their trading software. Mt4 and mt5 is most popular. Login your account and you’ll be able to place a trade. Ease as that. Also, you must have funds on your account.
its a difficult question to answer , because before start trading its more appropriate to make sure best level of practice , otherwise trading can be useless.
Yes MT4 does seem to make all the right noises. Even I’ve just completed my trading course and am looking to start trading but at the same time don’t wanna risk much. What is the minimum amount I can start trading with?
These days you’ll find many good reliable forex brokers that will let you start trading with a low minimum deposit, some such brokers are:
Avatrade : $100
Turnkeyforex : $10
XM : $5
FXTM : $10
Just make sure that whichever broker you select is offering you low spreads and does not charge high commissions.
mt5 is recommend by everyone , from my first day of trading i have been using this platform and still doing that. i think its more appropriate for all.
With such a low amount, can I make profit?
The Metatrader platforms are very user friendly and far most the best trading platforms that I have come across. Also, if you’re a newbie, go to the education section here on Babypips and start studying. It’s a great course and your basics will be much clearer.
See profit making is another thing all together. That entirely depends on your trading strategies. A good trading plan that is backtested will ensure your profits. Nothing else.
The education section here is good also as for a platform you can get used to using MetaTrader.
The best would be using the MT4 or MT5 platform because it is easy to learn. The MT5 might be a bit complicated because it’s an advanced version, so the MT4 should be simple for you, and it is mainly used for forex trading.
From my previous experience as a trader, I would suggest trading with an MT4 because it is famous for forex and easy to use compared to MT5.
