I’m still new to trading. Learning and becoming knowledgeable before I fund my account to start trading. Which is better to use MT4 or MT5?

MT5 is an updated version of MT4, and which I prefer, albeit just a few tweaks here and there. However, the majority of EA’s in current use were created for MT4 platforms. If you intend to use Bots go for the MT4.
But also choose a tier one regulated broker whose platforms are not neglected, but enhanced every so often…
Both are good platforms. But MT4 is much more user-friendly, especially for new traders.
I’m still using mt4 myself as hasn’t caused me any issues, but sure I’ll end up using mt5 some time in the future being the newer software
I recommend trading with the MT4 since you are a beginner. The MT4 is much simpler to use when compared to the MT5, and many traders prefer the MT4 over the MT5.

You can use any of the platforms you want to use. It totally depends on the trader. However, MT4 and MT5 are universal platforms and easy to use that is why these platforms are more recommended.
If you are a beginner, it’s better to use the MT4 platform since it’s easy to understand and simple to trade compared to the MT5.
I recommend trying both on demo for a while and deciding for yourself which one you like more.
