As said, trading is not difficult. There are many, many, many ways an strategies to make or lose money. So knowledge isnâ t necessarily valuable. However, most starting traders donâ t know that yet and are desperately searching for guidance. Therefore it is easy as a trader, with an opinion (but lack of steel balls to trade what they preach), to cash-in on that.
I always ask myself why a Guru is spending time looking for disciples when he is so successful in trading. So the more someone preaches to know how it works, the more skeptical I become. I recall a guy here, I think he was called the innercircle trader, who scaled promoting himself to a new level. He promised all the abundance of the world and was going to proof it live. So everybody was watching for this miracle to happen. It caused quite a stir here on Babypips. People were eager to spend money on what he preached.
However, when he started his long awaited live trading he almost diminished his trading account in a week. I think nothing was heard from him ever again.
Why am I saying this, well I am in a sentimental mood and I recalled that that happened. 
Anyway, be careful with people claiming to know how it al works and stay away rom tools that promises richness beyond belief for a time limited discounted price of $99 (why the discount???).
So in short, money, money, moneyâŚ

There are some good ones but they are hard to find
The best ones are those that that teach and trade and call their trades in real time, its not uncommon to see gurus calling hindsight trades
If they are accurate with their analysis and management then why would they be so stressed? If itâs so stressful then why would they want to do it for a living.
Thereâs lots of down time trading and depending on your trading style there could be lots more
than lots. Why not teach/coach or make youtube videos during that time?
Donât believe everyone who says they are good traders, you can check their trading results and only then you can decide about how good they are.

Hahaha, like good traders actually want to share it. When they are so profitable, why would they want to spend their time with people in showing them how to do it?
Actually, now I think of it. The members here looking for a Guru (in person or as EAâs sold) are actually not babypippers and shouldnât be here and are even a bit insulting our good members who wrote a lot of memorable posts here trying to teach you how to do it yourself.
We have âGurusâ in this community as they tell you how to do it. There is proof, because here is all that you need to be profitable yourself. However, they donât shout from the roof how good they might be and the âGuru lookersâ only want to see proof from trading records or else they are not interested. Well those âGuru lookersâ are most certainly not good traders, because they are desperate to find someone else to TELL them how to do it. They are also ignorant because they cannot tell that someone is giving them good advise, even when it is right in their face (in these forums and blogs).
You say read the Bible, but doesnât the Bible have loads of examples of people following others into success (Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Jesus)?
Successful people IN ANY AREA OF LIFE learned from someone else. How did we learn to work? Or to read? Or to be parents? Or make money as a Forex trader for that matter?
Yes, there are loads of scammers, yes there are some who are not. BUT donât make the mistake of thinking, buying someoneâs course will do all the work. You have to get up and work hard too. Many people think, they donât have to do anything. Those that are making money will tell you they do something.
There are some who just teach, but there are those who trade AND TEACH. I can tell you from personal experience, some will see your results and still say you are a scammer. You can only pray to help those who are willing. I know a large majority are too skeptical for their own good (this thread says enough) so I personally try to give loads of quality content for free but rest assured, people who are smart enough to invest get so much more.
Yes as trader beed study and always learning, never give up and if we learn from gurus but we need to paying their service if you have enough money itâs no problem, because sometime if we love to certain busiens then also need sacrifice, but no shortcut success in forex, just practice with our own selves and we will understand.

Well, I wouldnât exactly say so. Footballers become football coach, that doesnât mean they sucked at games. I think we should be thankful that they are at least teaching us the things that we donât know about⌠If they make money from teaching then I donât think that is a bad thing as wellâŚ

As a trader, youâre always mindful of what you can lose. No analysis is 100% accurate. It can be a black swan from out of nowhere that kills you (like Jan 15, 2015).
