I cant find what he did to get banned…
He may have been skeptical and at times rude… But those were his repliers too…
Please, help me to understand. Because there are less and less challengers on BP. And I think that is not good.

I believe he is one of the previously banned folks on Babypips that keeps coming back with new account names.
Once you get the Axe, it is pretty much lights out for you.
Why would they wait 8 months to ban him then?
He had comments deleted by admin this morning on a thread, so the cause is not there now, but slinging matches were escalating and I would believe a line would have been crossed that necessitated it.
All we gotta do is stick by the rules and be a little bit courteous to the fellow forum users and all should be fine. I am hoping this could be the start of the forum returning to the much less controversial state it once was.
It is fine to challenge another person. I am sure it would be welcomed, but it also needs to be done in a respectful way. There are many traders in these forums and almost as many different ways to trade the fx market. What is good for one is not good for another, but that does not make one right over another. Courteous and respectful constructive criticism would never be met with complaints or opposition from others.
Bro, you have to be smarter than that. Don’t bring all these sock puppets into the same conversation.
What does that even mean???
My bad. I’ll play along. Have at it girlfriend.
Ah! shame! and he contributed intelligently to my thread, because of him i resolved to imbibe a little bit of fundamental analysis to compliment my technical skills
Tassie, appreciate your input. I figured that he wasn’t banned for being friendly (although that could be considered abnormal behaviour here). But in most of his posts he was critical, a bit sarcastic, but not so much that you consider him insulting. What means that he perhaps was out of line, but not all the time. If that is the criteria, I have a list of other accounts that can be banned as well. Many rules are broken here. For this reason I wanted to show that I disagree with the ban.
I am just amazed that a contributing member is banned after a bad day, where people in the chat are given warnings for offensive and insulting nature over a longer period of time. And I call it a bad day, because it doesn’t look that he did it all the time.
What else do Administrators delete anyway?
I already suggested to you the reason. There is at least one person that continues to come back to Babypips with new accounts. And every time that person gets that account banned.
This is nothing new here. Been going on for years. I will give you a hint. The person already came back with a new account since the banning and has already posted in this thread.
I am Dutch and very keen on the freedom of speech, even when it becomes uncomfortable at times. So that is why I am annoyed about bans. As you say, banned people always return, but some also left a legacy that was constructive and lost that too.
Anyway, just wanted to plant a thought. That is done now. I will leave it with that.
PS got your hint…
PPS No, that doesn’t mean that everything can be said. Insulting someone, just to insult someone for no particular reason is the line for me.
Haha has he already posted about fundamentals on other threads? I wonder who…
I was just about to listen to his fundamental approach too, hopefully, you know who ;);), may start a thread about it and show what he looks for… Unless a new book deal comes along
I agree with Toekan…
I think the admin needs to reevaluate the rules of banning people. I don’t think he deserve to be banned like that. He actually had helped the conversation here in BP in balance. Sure, he probably sometimes get out of line but it’s no big deal really. Why we don’t look at the other side of what he did right. He had help newbies and other traders to look at the other side and another way of trading. Understanding the fundamental is what he was trying to convey in this community. We don’t have that much around here. There are soo many technicians…We could use his knowledge to help everyone who are willing to learn the other way. We cannot be all Technical traders around here… We needed balance… How many people you see here who contribute in Fundamental? Even if you do care or not…
If he ever come back with a different name, I’ll say let him be. Why not?.. It is just the name and his “Master Contributor and Member” title that is gone… I guess he just have to be careful next time…
Besides, @Mastergunner99, didn’t you have a good time bantering with him? Would you think that he is one of a few guys who can actually keep up with your psych (not sure if that’s the right word for it) in a certain level? I am sure you will miss that… I know, I can see it in your eyes…lol
Well I for one liked his contributions to my thread untill he went and edited every post with delete post. That was rude and disrespectful right there. Then he disappeared for months and came back only to flame. I do see a reason to ban him. Not saying I agree with it but there is reason.
Obviously we only see the results of any fallout when someone is banned, however, I would think that a person, especially with a lot of experience and posts here would be given a warning to alter behaviour (ie correct after a bad day). I would believe that would have been extended to him as well, but either it was a very bad day or he chose to ignore and continue contributing to the rot. I have received w warning myself some time ago, so they do warn people.
With the happenings across the forum the last few weeks, I can see where the moderators may have hoped that it would die down naturally, but unfortunately, it didn’t and blew out of proportion making their intervention necessary. They are in a no win situation. If they were heavy handed a few weeks ago, they would be accused of stamping out peoples right of speech, leave it too late and they could be accused of letting the rot continue. A very hard position to put themselves in to. Pretty much a “gray” area that can be exploited by those who want to push the limits.
Oh well, it has all happened, and we are here now. Let’s move on peacefully and continue to learn forex, whichever way we way we wish to learn to trade. Many ways to skin the forex cat, so always feel free to offer suggestions to theirs, but be a bit careful forcing your own method on others saying it is THE way to trade.
:57:
I agree with you Tassie. It is a hard spot to be in to be a mod. I am not a mod but I will say if I had to edit or delete over half of someones posts (at one time he had over 1000) then I would have to question if he is worth keeping in the forum. Sometimes a warning is just not going to cut it. Good thing it is not my choice to make. I know I slammed mastergunner a little lately. So if he reads this I do apologize if anything offended you.
People have a right to edit or delete the posts they make. They are the posters intellectual property. I guess it’s up to whoever the reader is to define “flaming”, nothing he said was unfactual or out of the way obtuse. shrugs
I’m quite certain Babypips owns the rights to what we post on this forum.
So how many warnings have you gotten? Are you on probation, or was it your last chance after a few? If on probation, coming back this way won’t look favourably on you for reinstatement.
