I wouldn’t say you can count on that. The market does what it wants. But what you’re probably refering to is one of wyckoff’s three laws. The law of cause and effect, if I’m not mistaken.
This law basically says, that if it the stock takes a long time to accumulate, the move afterwards will go on for a long time as well. But I don’t think you can pin it on a specific number of days.
Instead you should look for signs of reaccumulation or distribution and at the market structure.
