I’m currently 17 years old and have dropped out of college. I am a straight A student currently full time employed but I dont agree with the education system due to the fact I am money hungry and going university and college wont suit my needs that why I believe trading best suits me I’m willing to put my full time and knowledge into learning what i need to know . I have been reading a lot on Baby Pips and have taught myself knowledge about Forex i never knew to begin with , but it seems one major factor i will need in this sector is mentor who is willing to teach and guide me down the right path to succeeding in Forex. If anyone is willing to help me and teach me what i need to know please get in contact with me as soon as possible.
I am trading for living
I am trading for living for years
My advice: go back to school. You can learn to trade AND study university at the same time.
You have to realize about 95% Forex traders loose their money.
You are absolutely right. Notwithstanding the fact that, 95% of the mentorships you saw online in the internet suck more money than the brokers does…
education isn’t for me. I am straight A student but I dont agree with the education system. I would rather use my full time and knowledge into trading so i can start from as young as possible
well do you realize you need education for forex as well
why do I need education to trade ?
It’s a challenging profession! Here more than 90% traders are the loser, so don’t rely on Forex initially! Besides, you may not get any mentor here! If you want to learn Forex then use BabyPips School, then if you have any question just ask here! Senior members are too helpful here!
thanks for the help i will take that into consideration . Everyone I have spoken about Forex tells me that I have to go uni to do well. Is this true or could I just educate myself on strictly Forex and still succeed, and if so how long would it take until i could do this full time ?
Where do you live??

B a footballer? No? Y?
i watch football but not a big fan of playing
Yes, still can success. Time spend on your knowledge, how much n how well u know about forex. Everyone is dif.
So u a big fans of playing forex than. If that the case. Same like football player. It take time to learn everything about football. And same for forex. Forex is a business of your own. Open a account is super easy, Mantain it is v hard. Beside passion, U need to kn what is call price action, bullish, bearish, breakout, breakdown ect… What is indicater, how to use it. It not so easy son… It take u 3sec to bust your account, but it take 3 yrs to fully understand it. Sch is place where u get knowledge. Don’t gv up. At same time in sch learn forex. When u finish your sch u already somewhere there to kick forex.
OK, so I don’t know any thing about Licencing for finance in the UK, but I will tell you this, here in the USA to be a remote trader for a prop firm you need the following Series 3, 34, 63. So unless you have at least 5 mio to trade on your own to make a living, I am sure you will need some kind of certs in the UK. So how bout this, stay in school, leverage that to get some kind of economics sheepskin, and get any certifications you need. The you have a good base for the future. Remember most people that work in finance are Sell side, compliance, etc. You don’t “have” to trade to be involved. Also you can still learn to trade while you are getting a solid education.
