Uptick, you lost 4 months worth of scalp profit on that one big loss. Come on, man up…lol swing trade. If your going to suddenly have a trade with 6 times your average stop, risk percentage should be calculated so it results in an average win/loss rather than wiping everything out.
Besides that, your trading is not bad…not trying to hate but seriously, we’re right.
If you think 1 loss will take away 4 months of profits on every trade, that’s incorrect.
Sometimes I take a daily trade… so my target/stops are bigger… obviously. so the -185 was a daily stop. the +162… was a daily target… since my win rate with this strategy is typically around 75%… i go 1:1. Sometimes I average in, etc… blah blah…
So yes, if i take 10 trades on the 1H chart and go for 25 pips… and they all win… that’s +250… then I see a daily chart setup and go for 250 pips with a 250 pip stop, if I get stopped, yes… i just lost those 10 1H trades. I’m back to zero. Sure… but thats the risk of trading. Sometimes I hit target on that daily setup… etc.
But to just make a blatant comment that my stops are always 6x or 10x my target… not sure where you got that from. They’re not.
Zulutrade shows your biggest winner and loser… so master tang automatically saw my biggest losing trade (-185) and determined that was my stop on every trade. Which is incorrect. My biggest winner was +162… but again, I don’t go for +162 on every trade… it all depends on the TIME FRAME and the trade setup. Pretty simple concept, not sure why people aren’t getting it.

But gotta take some risks here and there you know… That’s just the way I trade.
Same lot size on 1h, 4h, and Daily.
