I signed up for a demo account at ZuluTrade. I understood that I have two options:
I pick my favorite signal provider. This signal provider will also place orders on behalf of my account (automated process).
I place orders myself manually based on the signal provider that I like. The problem I see here is that I can copy his open trades, but maybe I am already too late to gain pips myself as well. (they don’t send notifications as soon as my signal provider places a new order.)
Also would like to know if best would be to follow a signal provider who’s using a demo OR live account? (many of their top ranks run demo account.)
Personally i dont really care if a provider has a live or demo , all i care is his performance , i’m doing advanced searches to find them , running weeks , max dd% and average pips are my favourite parameters.
Thanks for this info. Yeah, I started with a few signal providers. Can’t say something about their performance, they only placed few orders for me so far.
You also look at % winning trades? If yes, which percentage you take?
I can suggest to try Tualatin, I recently add it with 0.05 std lot and 6 max open trades. This because open orders count as number of trades. He has DD of 300 pips, AVG pip trade of 25. Seems good.
mine is 12 trading weeks; min of 120 trades and dd of about 100 pips/lot used with no more than 15 pips per week per lot opened positions and most important max winning trades to be bigger than loosing use the advanced search to apply all of the settings
Yes , wining trades % is also important , i’m looking for below than 90% of winning trades , as those providers close to 100% winning tend to make huge drawdowns and i personally dont trust them. How is your trading going?
there is no robot, no man or a combination of the both that can produce a winning system over a long period of time!
actually at the moment I am testing a certain account with (SUREWIN88 …we have a discussion in a thread with Margert) you can visit and see the settings…other than that i am not trading anything else in specific …awaiting september with its volatility on the euro/usd …
