Thank you for the feedback! Lets see how this will affect the yuan…looking forward to it!: )
opened another USD/HKD position. Couldn’t resist, the pair just hit its highest level since June 2013 and is marking its highest daily increase in more than two years. Really, really bugging me.
Why is it bugging you, how do you think it will affect your performance?? Kindly elaborate…
Because I was expecting it to decrease at some point but it marked one of its strongest growths in years. I’m waiting it to go back to 7.75 levels. At least USD/CNH is going down over the last two days, some 150 pips.
Right right!
I suppose your backtests give you that entry points, correct…thanks btw for the feedback.
Is that how it is actually happening??.. i dont think i’ll ever catch the whole idea of trading
thank god at least, I manage pretty much ok my zulutrade portfolio…trading is not an easy job, not at all.
Of course it isn’t! That’s why we are using zulutrade! for that reason and only.
Once, long time ago, I had an ambition to actually learn to be a manual traders, but after the second loss, I realized my luck was only beginners, and you cant learn something you don’t have the predisposition for.
Following is not an easy job too. Had my account almost blown up several times by SPs so in the end I decided to follow only my own signals. Here is an interesting article on making money with Zulutrade:
Has Anyone Made Money On Zulutrade? Why Following Isn’t Profitable
Really nice article, mate!!!
I really didnt know much on the grid traders!! really opened my eyes there… the rest of the followers, please read it, will help you tons!
Glad I could help If you like, you could create a separate thread for it.
I think you should create it, as the blog you mentioned is your idea. I know little on grid traders. I think you should put some examples, as well!
Naa, don’t feel like it. Btw grid traders are really easy to spot, examples are f8 and qurenix,
I used to follow them both!! They are not that bad themselves. Care to actually explain what do you mean by the grid, what is the pattern that you see?
check out f8 at the moment:

As you can see, he has open positions on the same pairs with 20-30 pips between them. Personally, I have nothing against grid trading, I;m using it myself after all, for example the USD/CNH pairs with Rainbow rose. However, I use only 3 positions, 5 with Violet rose, whereas f8 uses 30, and with a maximum DD of 11k he could wipe out almost every account. Btw I used to follow Qurenix too, but I stopped doing it when he/she kept lying about he number of positions he/she would keep open. It’s very bad for the followers when you say max 10 positions and then you open 30! In his/her case it led to an astonishing DD of almost 7k, which would be enough to wipe out an account twice the size of mine.
Decided to close the USD/HKD positions as I’m not sure about the direction at the moment. Will wait a bit before opening another position.
Closed a USD/CNH position by mistake, that’s what happens what taking decisions in the morning without drinking coffee
+22.8 pips on the USD/HKD trades, not high I know, but I don’t want to get greedy and miss the moment
Right right!!! So that’s what’s gridding is about. Thanks for the detailed explanation, mate!
Well to tell you the truth I don’t mind much their trading.
Just opened a buy USD/HKD, the pair has been in decline for a seventh straight day now, I think it’s time for a reversal.
Btw, any ideas how I could promote my SP account? So far I was thinking of starting a thread at Zulu’s forum, but those usually don’t get a lot of views and replies. Any ideas or feedback are welcome.
I think the zulutrade forum is a very good start. Plus put together and updating your webpage as well, i think that can do the work.
Closed USD/HKD position at +9.7 pips, will probably enter again if it drops to around 7.755.
Same here. But googd luck to that. It might take another week I guess.
