Balls Of Steel - trading volatile pairs

How did you do that?!

That is fantastic

It has put a smile on my day…

Genius!!

Haha

‘Balls of steel’ fleeces

;p

Underpants or boxers might be more appropriate

Forgot to say, came back to my stop for 20 pips.

Opened a new EurUsd short at 1.1438.

Finished today with 0.6% growth, up 12% for the week.

Won’t be trading much next week, too busy, do will let my open trades run and see where it takes me.

Haha nice one! Well done onyour 12% PROFIT!!

Thanks for that.
Good to be back, a few trades closed for me while I was away, +170 pips total for another 3% on my account.

Hi everyone.
Placed my first trade of the week, LONG GbpNzd @ 2.1148
After touching bottom (2.04) in mid-April this pair has been slowly climbing back up, apart from a dip back to 2.08 at the start of May. I expect steady, if slow, movement up, possibly getting more volatile as we approach the Brexit vote.

The ‘Balls of Steel’ way!!

Buddha hug!!!

Not so slow after all, 100 pips locked in already and still rising

…and out for +140 pips.

…and back in again when price dropped to 2.1251

Nice call. Looks like it’s all aboard for the 2.15 train again. Missed it myself. Was in a GBP/AUD short from 1.97 which made me a little and erased the loss from being short DAX this morning (whoops… bad call).

Thanks buddy. Ive now got a Stop in place 40 pips into profit. Hoping it continues upwards but at least I’m covered should it reverse

Over 2.1400 now, highest level since March. SL moved up to +100 pips

GbpNzd just dropped 200 pips in almost no time, virtually no volume, must be down to Wheeler’s speech. Taken the opportunity to buy agsin @ 2.12, playing the long game

“NEWS Housing and dairy risks to financial stability
New Zealand’s financial system is resilient and continues to function effectively, but risks to the financial stability outlook have increased further in the past six months, Reserve Bank Governor, Graeme Wheeler, said today when releasing the Bank’s May Financial Stability Report.”

Wouldn’t have thought this would boost the NZD

That’s crazy… it had finally busted that 0.68 level and all was looking bearishly tasty for us

I have been rather busy assisting my partner today, who gave birth to our daughter… Just home

now to catch up with things (sleep, mostly)…

So I missed all the forex action

An unforgettable day…

Congratulations PipMeHappy, many more sleepless nights ahead.
Have you decided on a name yet? Pipette perhaps?

Very best wishes to all 3 of you

Good morning Eddie!

Pipette and Mother Pip are fine and will return

home today…

Sleepless night awaits as Baz said, so I

made the most of it…

I was looking at my partner’s unborn

baby’s heartbeat charts the past two days

and caught myself thinking they made an

excellent trading range ;p Mother’s uterine

charts during labour/contractions looked

like a NFP Friday several times over :open_mouth:

Seriously, what an effort it takes to get

us humans into this world… Mental!
