Nasdin's Trading System

INTRO

Hi, this is my own trading system that I have developed during my time trading forex.

I have been trading since I was 14 years old on my father’s accounts( I’m 18 now)

A little bit of sharing about myself:
I have been losing money straight, hitting breakeven, blew up a few accounts for the first year or so.
But I’ve finally realized the answer. after 1 year and a half, ( I also remembered begging for a free price action course while crying and typing out an email to beg for said course)

The answer was so simple, it was just getting trades with a good R:R on a reasonable strategy.
Then, practice it with correct MM.
Then just find as many trades as you can (without hurting MM, R:R, nor the edge of the strategy)

That was the answer. And this was the result: I have been hitting an average of 2% DAILY, but this past few week, I’ve actually nailed 3-4% average daily. it’s unbelievable, but then I went on to Compile all my strategies into a system, so that my friends can learn from it and follow suite.

At first, I didnt wanted to release it to the public because, well I don’t think anyone would believe me if I said I could average 3% a day, I’d probably get flamed.

But here’s the document, in any case, if anyone is looking forward to learn something new.

Intro End

The strategy is using candlesticks, lots and lots of candlesticks, fibonacci, and momentum.
No crossover systems or what not, I’ve spent days tinkering with Mt5’s cloud network just to find that any combination of indicators and all their possible settings are not profitable in the long term. Only price action is.

However, I’ll be here, to answer and elaborate on whatever that is asked.

What you are expected to know:
Concept and importance of Confluence
Concept of settings trades to breakeven
How to shift your stop loss, TP
How to open trades, set TP, set SL

Advanced SPIO Trading System.zip (584 KB)

Big thanks to Nas for sharing his success and compiling his trading experience and strategies into one that has been working very well recently.

You can use OpenOffice [free software, google it] to open the file too. I use it. The guide has screenshots to help the explanation of the strategy.

Good luck to all!

Hi, thanks for the reply and look into the guide.

However, some areas in the guide are quite vaque as I only did in a few days, so not much effort was made there.
So if anyone is having any trouble with anything, feel free to ask, I will be here.

Im not sure I trust anyone with a troll face and 300k in their avatar lol

The system is all yours to judge now that it’s out. You can backtest if you wish to see if you want to trust it or not.

I got combination of indicators working in a few days in mt5 I put together in a few mins into an EA. my first EA for MT5 without hedging strat… it works by comparing the Stochs fast and slow of different timeframes and getting and ave value and trading that. ave 7.2% per day so far. [Flame on.] I don’t trade it live but take trade Ideas from it time to time.

If you like MT5 I’ll send it to you.

You say this is not a set and forget strategy so it shouldn’t be automated? I’d love to check it out and see what I can do.

Thanks for sharing this. Will check it out.

I NEO, could you please send me your EA. I am interested in testing it because I once tried a system similar to the one you’re using except I tried testing it manually and couldnt monitor the markets consistently. Also have you tried backtesting your system and seeing how it does in the long term?

Haha, you’re right, its a zip file, so it could be a virus. I wanted to upload the docx file but it was not allowed. I’ll see what else I can do. its a 33 page document.

I’ll see what else I can change my avatar too.

Well, I tested and played around on MT5 too, if you backtest long enough and get the optimized settings for the backtest data, of course that strategy would be profitable, :20:, but only on the past data, but what about forward data?

If you were to optimize let’s say on January to Feb, and get the right optimized settings for those months, where it has achieved 7.2% per day, then replay the same settings from March to May, would it be able to achieve the same desired results then? Or worse? Usually, its barely profitable, but still beats making losses.

This is the key thing, whether something you backtest in the past can be repeated in the future with about at least a 70% consistency.

Larry Williams once said that he made a system which won 33 out of 33 trades ( or something like that) based on past data, but not once did it actually made money when they ran it live in the long term.

Sorry for double replying but, is there a difference between measuring stochastics period 30 on H1 and stochastics period 120 on H4? For e.g

You’re still taking the same bars to calculate stochs on arent you?
It’s like how a 60 moving average in the 15min chart gives the same values as a 240 moving average on the 1hr chart, you’re using the same data, just different periods.

So, what’s so different about using indis in different timeframes? It’s the same as using them all in the same timeframe but they each have different settings.

I discovered this method accidentally, like most great inventions, when I unwittingly typed a 1 instead of a 0 somewhere changing the values for the stoch from typical low/high to close/close. And by some glitch in the matrix it worked. :41:

There are so many minor variations I still need to test. Currently using it on 15m.
So far this week the VI its been better than my manual trading(which is pretty awesome, hence the need to where shades while I trade so I don’t go blind from overexposure to pure awesomeness) :5:
It is still not nearly as good as the MT4 ver.

I’m trying this on MT5 as I like the execution better than MT4 and Alpari has promised a non dealing desk low spread account with MT5 fully automated while I 'm off saving the world or something.

At the moment as you can see in the screen shot it always keeps a trade open until it reaches its TP not necessarily changing on the indicator. Current setting programmed to take 50pips + spread

As you can see this is a 15m chart and trading completely automated, all I did was watch as it took 150 pips on the EURUSD in 11 hours

The market needs to be reviewed weekly and settings optimised as I would not trust it left on its own for extended periods.
I optimise on a day to day basis. It depends on the daily range, this changes all the time a 50/100 SL/TP might be good one week, not the next. I’ll try move this to another thread. I don’t want to crowed it here with this system.
Basically I have had trouble getting a ‘generic’ set of values to work ad infernitum.

Looks promising. but it enters the market a bit too early.

What’s the integrity of the parameters? How long can the settings last until it becomes unprofitable?

true that, serendipity is great form of discovery. Now how about sharing the EA?

Why is this thread now about your EA? Can we stick with the topic of the strategy shared by thread starter?

I can make EAs too, this one trades nice little indicator crossovers too, like how yours does.
This one made 360 pips in 2 days.

After a week of (being backtested and optimized to the best settings)
Cmon, let’s face it, indicator crossovers don’t work.
If they do, programmers would be the richest people alive, and everyone would be rich as hell, just using EAs. But we don’t see that, do we?

Stick with Price action, trading momentum and divergences, seriously.

I converted the Word document into pdf format, so its less suspicious, and also more people will be able to view it.

Hi sorry dont mean to detract from your thread.
Test results 3 month test 197%

NE0 Test Resutls 3 months197%.zip (81.8 KB)

The SPIO EA Made 300% in 2 months -.-

$1000 to $5000

Oh sry, thats 400% gain.

Now that’s what I’m talking about! This SPIO is starting to look good here! :35:

Of course that’s not the best results that I got and I’m not trying to have a EA war here :53:

Whatever makes the most cash for us.

June1 to July31 got me only 418%. But remember this is with 1 stupid simple indicator, so it probably wont beat a more complex system overall.
we should compound the SPIO month to month and see what we get after a year.

Are you going to use your system live this Monday, if so with which pairs? Can’t wait. Thanks

I use the system everyday in my trading.
I just trade the 8am bar and sometimes 12pm bar as well, then I go to school

I average 3-4% daily just trading this bar.
The pairs that I trade are mentioned in the guide.

The EA was just a simple, morning star candlestick with RSI and stochastics on trending situations and it traded every bar given to it.

However, the manual system I posted, trades 13 pairs, has well defined rules to follow in trending, in ranging and consolidation, each market phase has each own sets of confluence to follow, the candlestick signals, types and also how to interpret every time of candlestick is also inside, so you are sure to get a trade everytime you look at the screen(without hurting the edge of the strategy)

Now think about this, if I only trade the 8am bar with the strategy and I can get 3-4% a day, imagine trading the 8am bar, 12pm bar, 4pm bar, 8pm bar and even the 12am bar?
