10 Mar 2024 Ludicrous Returns Stock Model Update

Stocks sold this week: GTLB, HPK

GTLB – the application software company reported earnings per share below analyst estimates. The stock suffered a decline. The technical analysis pattern featured triggered a Ludicrous Returns sell trigger.

Sell Now Triggers:

CCI ZBRA, TASK, STRC, SKYE, NTGR, GDDY, CFLT

CCI – Unfortunately, shortly after the buy, the 200D simple moving closing average started to shift to a decline. This signals a sell trigger in the Ludicrous Returns stock model.

The decision to sell ZBRA is not based on fundamentals. ZBRA has a lot of great long-term growth potential with the essential RFID technology, with automation and warehouses that run on GPS and RF tags, there is no doubt ZBRA is a great long-term play. In the near future, however, my model is showing a low technical analysis performance score, and I’m choosing to sell ZBRA to buy other stocks. I will continue to watch ZBRA when it displays characteristics of entering a stock price growth phase again.

I know, TASK was just a buy last week. However, it now appears to be entering a short term horizontal pattern. My model will sell this stock until the technical analysis fundamentals improve.

STRC is another recent buy trigger on a stock with wonderful prospects, software to run AI robots. However, the 200D is featuring a decline. Under these conditions, my model will move out of holding the stock until the 200D can start inclining again.

SKYE: My holding from buy trigger (market open after trigger) is + 105%. This stock just triggered one of the sell rules. Time to sell the stock and wait for the next buy trigger.

GDDY: Had a nice run. Model is selling this stock based on future growth potential score has deteriorated. Time to look for another stock with higher growth potential.

Stock Model Buy Triggers this week:

3/4 Buy Triggers (as reported earlier): INO, STRC, CCI

3/5 Buy Trigger: TGT

3/7 Buy Triggers: AEVA, TNDM, AI

AEVA specializes in lidar sensors. Even if the autonomous vehicle industry is taking longer than anticipated to get off the ground, there are still opportunities for growth everywhere. From farm equipment that is being developed as autonomous to fork lifts, to even safety features in today’s production vehicles, there is plenty of opportunity for growth. The very low price combined with a buy trigger display a large growth opportunity ahead for this stock.

TNDM is a metal device maker with devices that help patients with diabetes live a free and independent life. This stock recently featured a great buy opportunity, with growth expected ahead.

AI is what can I say, a software company focused on artificial intelligence. This stock recently featured a buy, although it appears it could take a buy / sell / buy to catch it before the stock explodes.

New Buy Now Triggers (3/8): BAX, DY, IPSC, NOTV, SRZN, BLOK

BAX just triggered a long-term lifecycle buy. DY Engineering and construction firm helps to install pipes and lines for high speed internet infrastructure. What a great long-term growth with two supporting growth trends fundamentally: 1. Business moving to the cloud 2. AI using lots of data and cloud computing. ISPC and SRZN are biotechnology plays that just triggered buys on my Ludicrous Returns stock model. SRZN would earn 4x investment if it ever return north of $ 52 per share last seen in early 2022. There’s been a lot of upward momentum lately in stocks that specialize in Diagnostics and Research. NOTV is no exception.
