haha, i hope so too, looking good for you at this point. hope it fills your limit then let it rain!
thanks mate, this is sweeet.
looks like we have an amended d on the aj at 83.52.
similar pattern on the uj, d 91.08.
all the best.
Hi guys,
Got it right from my first post previously even though there wasn’t any comments from the gurus here…
Hope I got it right again with my 2nd post here for the EURUS…
got a convergence at of 1.628 CD at 0.5 of XA…
anybody getting the similar pattern?
Hey okidoru I have the same pattern looks good!!
Hello, been looking throught charts to learn and draw the patterns. Would u guys say that this pattern is correct? Been reading diffrent guides in how to calculate the patterns.
//Chris
did you go for it?
i make a try at 1.41322…
This pattern has just reached the “D” if anybody else is on and wants to trade it!
Update: I had to close this one out for a loss
Didn’t follow one of the cardinal rules in the time the “D” formed
Hope nobody else took this one!
Hi Racerdude,
I managed to steer clear of this one as there were other yen crosses with d’s well above, but I was tempted the second time it hit d inside my allowed trading hours.
I find the trading hours rule the hardest to follow. I haven’t had a trade for 4 days lol!
There is another convergence pt on the gj i’m sure you saw at 147.20, which I am seriously considering. If it breaks the previous swing high and I can sell around 147.30 I’ll probably get involved. Looks like a good area to be selling on the daily.
All the best.
No trade, it’s gone out of hours. Probably for the best as this pair is too volatile for me and the yen seems weak today.
Hey guys,
Does anybody know if true D trading hours (in est) change between summer and winter?
In particular, is the trading window for true D’s during the the Asian session 1 hour longer during the US winter (6am-9am est) than summer (6am-8am est, as prescribed by Tmoney), given the fact that the Shanghai and Hong Kong equity markets open an hour later, and the span for equity market opens is 3 hours not 2?
In my experience there is good volatility and trading opportunities in winter during the 8am-9am est period. Today was a good case in point.
Not sure that I have explained myself very well. Any input appreciated.
oh sorry, please replace “am” with “pm” on all est times quoted.
Id imagine they are pretty flexible as trading fib ratios is based on the harmonic motion of human emotions and it makes sense that human emotions change from season to season. I think the times set forth by TMB are the times he had the most success and least failures. if he is out there, he can confirm or deny
BTW, I did see the other convergence at 147.200 and was planning on taking it but slept right through it too bad too cuz it turned around nicely
Thanks Racerdude.
My trading plan stipulates 6pm-9pm est for Asia, but I noticed Tmoney has 6pm-8pm, so i’m always kinda torn in that hour before Hong Kong opens. To be honest I think you could even trade for half an hour after that. My main concern is not to get caught with a position, or take a new position in the listless couple of hours leading into London. This becomes less of an issue in Summer, as Asian and Europen timezones converge. Someone please tell me if I’m talking complete nonsense.
So anyway, I did take the gj when I saw Shanghai open heavy and Hang Seng futures weak. Not easy to take just 33 pips, but there will be other trades.
Snap modo lol, I got the same trade.
good to hear
hi guys,
this may be dodgy, but i have these 2 patterns on the jpy/cad 4h. convergence is not great, about 10 pips on one and 5 pips on the other, but they both terminate in the same area.
if i can pick some up around 83.95 i probably will do so.
Good call on this one, I like it!
Glad someone could find something in this market, things went crazy after the GBP data dropped! lol

thanks dude, but unfortunately it looks like i just missed it. i have a mas 5 pip shave on the entry which keeps me out of a lot of patterns, but it also stops me chasing.
have pulled my bid now due to time of day…which i don’t want to do hehe, but it beats breaking a rule and losing money, that’s the worst.
i’m also watching this eu, hoping it hits D giving the chance to pick up some eur/chf just under 1.47. but it will have to be later cos i’m done for a couple of hours. preference is for e/c given lower volatility and possible bullish daily gartley.
I ended up taking this at 84.05 and made my 30 off of it… thanks for the spot Modo!
