what does this mean? i started with $500 on a demo account, in one week i brought my earnings up to $1,400 and now this suddenly happened.
i go to an international graduate school, and i was home these past 2 weeks, and i just came back to school yesterday evening. could this have caused the problem? i really don’t want to open a new account and start all over again, as i want to keep a working progress of what i’m doing correct and not-correct.

the demo could have expired or you have the password wrong. You probably need to start a new demo. Can I ask what broker has a $500 demo?
Thanks for the message. I apologize for the confusion, I’m using the Metatrader MT4 platform. It allows you to manually input however much you want to play with on your demo account.
I wasn’t aware that demo accounts expired. I tried to setup a new account, and that still didn’t do the trick.
Yes most demo account last for 90 days at the most. Some only last 30 days. There are a few like thinkorswim that dont expire. You might want to try contacting the broker to see what happened but that is the most likely cause.
