A good desktop wallet for ETH?

Hi,
I would like to buy some ETH. What is a good desktop wallet to keep it? Something that doesn’t need to download the full blockchain, if possible. (Like Electrum for XBT).

I use MyEtherWallet and never had any problems. Have you looked into that?

Check out Mist, the official Ethereum wallet.

Jaxx is a good one. And Exodus.

But if you’re really paranoid, the safest option is to create a paper wallet using ETHAddress.
