Hi can anyone let me know what I have done wrong with this chart ?
see attached
Thank You
Gary
Are you using some sort of renko chart indicator? It looks like the bars are repainted to match (n)(pips).
Not sure what you mean by ‘done wrong’???
If you’re talking about the fact that the price movement looks a bit ‘weird’: rest assured that EUR/CHF has been moving like that i.e. in the tightest of ranges for weeks now.
If you’re talking about the blank space at the bottom of the chart then you simply have an indicator that is invalid or not calculating correctly and is therefore not displaying what is expected. Either that or you’ve changed the color scheme to something that is too difficult to see. To solve this simply reset the charts color scheme to default.
Other than the above I cannot see anything else wrong with the chart.
Please be more specific if I’ve not answered your question.
Regards,
Dale.
It looks wrong because every block is exactly the same size or a multiple of that size.
Well here is a M15 MT4 chart of EUR/CHF. If I changed the chart color scheme I’d be able to simulate the thread starters post I’m sure. That being said: there is some or the other indicator attached to his chart but it’s difficult to see what it is because the text is too small and / or unclear.

That’s interesting. On what date and time (and time zone) were those charts captured??? You’ve got ME worried now!!! LOL!!!

Dale.
LOL Look closely, that’s only a 2 pip range.
Best bet in the house right now.
The swap pays well;)
Those charts are from today, 15m timeframe.
I think I know why the charts look different on different feeds. The provider may be truncating the 5th decimal point (fractional pip) before it’s painted in the chart window.
