A right riveting read?

Hey smoodaboo, I’m also new to Forex and trading for that matter.

From what I’ve gathered the babypips school is about as good as it gets for learning Forex from the ground up. I took notes and played around with a demo account while going through the school and I think that helped me a ton. Take your time, it took me a while to assimilate most of the information but it’s not that hard you just can’t rush it.

The issue with the really basic Forex books, and I read a few, is that they just re-hash the same very basic points and are usually reading a very biased opinion from the authors perspective. The down side is that the authors are usually taking a lot for granted so you don’t get a great explanation of what their perspective actually is.

The baby pip’s school does guide you through how the markets work but they don’t belabor the points. I would say, finish the school, then you’ll be ready for a more intermediate book which means actually talking about trading. Additionally they are more interesting better books, more worth your time and money (or library card usage).
