A Trade per Day - My Daily Journal

Hi, I’m Ziga.

I started this journal to document my journey as I learn how to trade using price action.

My plan is to focus exclusively on learning from Al Brooks’ material and write everything I learn right here. I’ll try my best to do it in a clear, concise and easy to understand manner. Hopefully this will prove useful to you as well.

I will also use this thread as a mechanism to hold myself accountable.

Join me on this journey to becoming a better trader.

Have a nice day!

Today I Learned - 2016-04-11

First post, short and sweet.

My goal with trading is not make a lot of money.

Instead, my goal with trading is to make good decisions and become a better trader.

Today I Learned - 2016-04-12

A trading setup is composed of two things:
[ol]
[li]Signal: a bar or collection of bars – a candlestick pattern
[/li][li]Context: all of the bars to the left
[/li][/ol]
Of these two, context is far more important than the signal. A perfect signal in the wrong context will consistently lose money.
