I have ZERO adult ads.
That’s your browser looking for you, not BP’s advertisers. You either have adult content in your mail, or have opened or searched something (even accidentally) that tracks your browser, and posts like ads.
If you are using Firefox, try this.
It should eliminate most of those annoying popups, and tracking ads.

The ads you see are targeted ads based on your internet activity. Some members may be seeing car insurance ads, broker ads, or health ads while others, who search for, ahem… adult content, will most likely see, ahem… adult content ads. So what has your internet activity been lately, Samm?

Thanks for the feedback. We’re getting tired of it as well. You’re most likely seeing an ad for a video game that includes adult contact. This is in fact a Google Adsense ad, that shows up randomly on its own. Some ads are catered to a visitor’s browsing activity while others are targeted directly at the website. And many ads are targeting to a specific country or region. So while you and I are seeing this ad, others may never see it.
Regarding the ad, we made a request to Google to remove it from our account a couple days ago Google also now provides a way to block certain categories of ads from showing on your website either temporarily or permanently. We obviously don’t want adult content showing on our website, and I don’t think Google allows that anyway, so I’m thinking this slipped through under the Video Gaming category. We’re not certain, and Google doesn’t provide a way to determine what category an ad belongs to. But Video Gaming (and several other categories) has been blocked.
Again, we apologize for the adult oriented animated action heroes. We’re working to get that removed immediately. We actually hoped that it would already be gone, but we 're waiting as well. So right now all we can do is ask for your patience and hope you don’t judge us based on these unsavory ads.

I too having the same issue… Adult Fantasy Game videos popping up and I don’t even play video games let alone search on it… Oh and meet Asian Women? Lol What was that about? I already have friends that are Asian why do I need to search on those ? It’s annoying!!

Yes, we’re seeing those, too, even though we’ve specifically blocked that type of ad category. And those types of ads have been blocked since we were first allowed that option. The only thing that makes any sense is that the advertisers are tagging the advertisements with another category to circumvent our removal efforts. We let Google know about this. However, it’s always an automated request with Google, so no humans on the other end to give actual support. Fingers crossed.
