Can anyone give me any tips, recommendations or pointers on using the ADX?
Yeah. Don’t.
Not interested about indicators…!
How come? What do you base your trades on? Mostly fundamentals or inflection points? Just a newbie trying to look for a good strategy here!
Hopefully trading using Price Action.
I am also trading with price action but with few moving averages.
Forex Indicators Guide I used this site when I started. It lists the different indicators under headings: Trend, Momentum, Cycle and Volume Volitility etc. As well as suggestions and tips how to use them. and more ideas how to search a particular indicator. You can also search ADX mt4 strategy on google and utube for more info. Utube will not only have explanations about most indicatos you’ll probably see how the different traders use them. All free and of course if you don’t understand somthing, you can ask here.
Another thing you want to keep in mind, is that there are many more than 1 way to trade and how you start is probably not how you will finish trading. The most successful traders make sure the advice being offered is relevant to them and their situation. When you’re seeking advice about a particular subject for example, especially when you first start, you’ll will get people telling you their way is the only way, everything else is junk or don’t use it. Remember, just because someone gives you their opinion that doesn’t automatically make fact or the absolute. Research and test what ever you’re trying to do.
