I’ve just written this blog post aimed at programmers who have no trading experience but are curious about the process behind creating their own trading algorithm with MT4.
It’s the first in a series; I hope someone finds it useful
I applaud you for taking the initiative to teach us ‘newbies’ the fundamentals of creating MT4 trading algorithms. I’m just from checking out the first part and I’m glad to say I’ve found it much easier to understand than other tutorials on the web. I will be really looking forward to the next part and hope it will be as informative and eye opening as the first.
Love the blog. You should think about doing a blog post about optimizing your EA after it is built. This is something I am very interested in and I am sure plenty of people on this forum would appreciate it.
I will definately cover the optimiser at some point, although perhaps more relevant is filtering out bad trades in the EA itself, which is probably what you were asking about?
