The past months i’ve been reading a lot about Forex and technical analysis and last week I started my own “system” to trade. The only think missing is a software that will send me signals to my cellphone or e-mail or whatever when X pattern on a technical indicator happens. For example when stochastic crosses I want to receive a signal so I’ll go take a look at charts see if it’s the right moment to place an order. PLEASE ! someone help me with this, I only want suggestions of a simple and reliable software
If you’re trading with MT4, there is a way to set up email notification which works well if you’ve got a data plan on your smartphone. I use it with my blackberry, it’s great. You have to set it up in the options -> email tab, then you set it as an alarm and use email instead of sound notifications.
Dealbook 360 (GFT offers this charting software) has a built in function for SMS messaging so I’ve heard. Haven’t tried it though.
alert!fx is one option. You may need to set up a demo account with them and run your strat on their platform. For that matter just use a MT4 demo and set it up to email you. I am not sure how fast any of these methods are I think an sms option would be faster than email.
