Alpary UK MT5 has smaller spreads than MT4 and even though MT4 doesn’t have commission, the MT5 comission is very small.

I am a beginner and don’t know which one to chose? I want to deposit 1000 - 2000$ until I have enough experience.
Why would anyone chose MT4 when MT5 has so small spreads? Maybe it’s something I’m missing ???
