I have been trading stocks, ETF and mutual funds for almost 4 years now. By profession I’m a computer programmer and have been trading stocks using Algos.
Last year I stumbled upon forex trading. Started reading about it on babypips and other sites. At the same time, begin a coder, searched for API providers for forex trading. Found Oanda broker who provides REST API. Built Algo against their API and traded in demo. Tried multiple strategies in demo and after seeing good results using Algo, started live trading. It has been 6 weeks of live trading now. If interested, I keep a journal on babypips Algo trading Fx.
I’m still a learner and have to implement good risk management techniques that I’m learning on babypips.
