I am going through the BabyPips school, one article at a time and I am through Middle school and starting High School now.
I am impressed and a bit shocked at the level of mathematical models used to predict price moment, it truly is a science. I feel like a strategy must include a lot of steps, such as:
IF RSI > 80 && MACD > 20 && Triangle Found && etc etc
Execute trade
ELSEIF …
ELSEIF …
END
It made me think there has got to be some software written to analyze prices and performance and compute trade ideas?
I know Yahoo’s interactive charts have some of them, same with Recognia—but Recognia does not let you analyze more than one signal at a time…
Anyway, Can anyone recommend software that will find the ABCD’s, the Elliot Waves, the various technical indicators, etc? Preferably the software would be free/ad-based, but if they cost money, I’d be curious how much they are.
I actually have matlab access, so if you know of only a MatLab software set that can work this, it can work too.
