Hi everyone, I am just making my way at the moment through the school. I live in Perth Australia I have a demo account setup but I have not done any trading yet, I am finding it very overwellming at the moment just trying to educate myself, There are so many people claiming they have the simple easy way of making profitable trades, its hard to filter out the B.S. also other experts telling you that the Forex market and especially short trading is just a gamble.
I hope to start with that I can make a small amount of profit to supplement my income and keep on educating myself so that maybe I can have the confidence education and experience to actually make some money.
This is a wonderful site for education and it seems like a very friendly and helpful community.

Great observation…there is quite a large amount of BS out there (not referencing BP solely or specifcally…talking in terms of general FX investment education on the web). Personally, any professional educator which claims that any timeframe less than 1hr is just noise, is simply not a professional, and needs some education themselves. By simply being aware of this, I’d say you’ve saved yourself a few months of agony and potentially a couple hundred dollars. You’re ahead of the curve in my book. So, kudos!
Go find a trader on Wall Street or in Chicago and ask them if they don’t use intraday charts to locate setups (30m, 5m, 1m).
I’ve seen one thread on here, ran by a gentleman of the name Chris Capre…his material IMO is far superior to most others.
