two events happening today us cpi and cad interest rate, just closed some of my trades for fear of being taken out.

i had been long CAD futures (i.e. short USD/CAD) for half an hour - very profitable trade, actually - but just closed it a few minutes ago, for fear of the same, risks like that i don’t need!
