Are Forex Mrkts open on Christmas eve?

Just curious, since news is being released that day, are Forex markets open on christmas eve?

Hi
Markets are always open, but your broker may close early

On Friday December 25 and Friday January 1, forex brokers in Europe, the U.K., North America, Australia and New Zealand
will be closed in observance of Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

In addition, most of these brokers will close early on Thursday December 24 (Christmas Eve), and on Thursday December 31
(New Year’s Eve).

There will be trading in Asia on these dates, but volume will be exceptionally light.

Check your broker’s website for their holiday schedule.

As a result of the extremely light volume in the Asian market on these dates, forex price action is likely to be more erratic and unpredictable than usual. It could be surprisingly volatile — or it could be essentially dead.

If you normally hold forex positions over the weekend, be especially cautious about doing so on these holiday weekends.
