Hey everyone, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I’ll try anyways.
I’ve been noticing over the past couple weeks the Aussie Dollar slump against the Japanese Yen, on a daily basis losing strength. Unfortunately I didn’t exchange my cash into Japanese Yen during the peak for my holiday to Japan in July, as I didn’t anticipate the Aussie dollar losing so much strength.
Now I’m not sure what I should do. I’ve still got a good month to wait it out, but if this trend continues, then the likelihood that I lose out on more yen is going to increase drastically. Or it could recover and bounce back up again.
Do you think it’s wiser to just exchange now? Incase the Aussie dollar keeps slipping, or to wait it out for a month? Past trends show the Aussie dollar quite sporadic against the Yen for the past year of so, usually between 80-85yen, but it’s quite rare for it to go under 80 yen, which it did this morning…
