Backtesting - data and indicators

This might be asking for abit too much but is it possible to obtain historical data (some which i can import into excel?) WITH details of what a certain indicator value was during that period?

For example, moving average figures or stochastic figures - or is this something i would need to calculate and manipulate based off the raw price data??

The idea idea is that i can use this data to then look back in time and potentially see what the outcome would have been if i took a position?

I imagine there’s a bot that can do that. I have no idea.

In the meantime, do it manually.

Do you plan on trading with EA?

is tradingview do it without excel, import data and so on?

we don’t know what is your target, write some more info

Without a programming technical background, the best thing you can do is calculate as you said, with Excel fórmulas applied to price data.
