I came across a neat little article on a guy who was once one of the world’s great stock traders, Jesse Livermore. In it, the author of the article attributes to him many quotes of trading wisdom. Check it out.
BTW, what does Beating the Market mean in the forex? Is making even $1 beating the market?
Investopedia explains it really good. This is a quote from there: “An investor, portfolio manager, fund or other investment specialist produces a better return than the market average. The market average can be calculated in many ways, but usually a benchmark - such as the S&P 500 or the Dow Jones Industrial Average index - is a good representation of the market average. If your returns exceed the percentage return of the chosen benchmark, you have beaten the market - congrats!”
I don’t understand the reason, but the moderator removed my link to the article on Jesse Livermore. That’s too bad. It was an interesting article.
