Im new to DT. Currently im using trading view platform and doing paper trading (sim trading). I am having issue understanding on the chart the price goes up and down with the candle, but the buy button does not match that price. so when I click buy it is a different price. am I missing something?
Usually there is a spread between the Bid and Ask prices. The price that you see on the right side of the chart may be different than what your entry will be depending on on the spread and how you have tradingview setup to display prices.
The default setting of most charts is to show only the bid price, the price at which you sell in order to open a short position (or close an existing long position). You can re-set this with some software or platforms but you can’t eliminate the issue - charts show one price, when trading requires two.
