Beginner getting into trading for the first time

So I’m just trying to get into trading and I’m hoping to use small amounts (such as $20) to start and see if I can generate a profit over the first few months. Any advice before getting out there and starting to trade so I don’t blow an account within the first week?

Hi  be profitable on demo account by 6 months, then decide what next. Regards Greg

You will need to slightly increase your initial trading amount. You’ll be able to open a micro amount with this sum, but for trading you’ll need at least a hundred dollars I guess. Also, practice on a demo account first.

Hello and welcome! Better to practice in demo first and find a trading strategy that will suit your personality.

You can use the $20 for practicing on a micro account but please don’t expect to make any profit on that amount. It’s very unlikely that you will make any. Give demo account a few months and during that time increase your account size. Good luck.
