Best broker for a UK beginner?

Hi guys,

I’m new to the site and new to the foreign exchange business as a whole - still going through the school of pipsology, and got a lot to learn! But I’m looking to open a demo account with a reliable firm that I can trust to be able to handle my real money when I am ready to step up to that level.

I am based in the UK and would be looking to invest £1000-£1500 in a micro account, preferably ECN, preferably priced in pound sterling, preferably able to deposit and withdraw through Paypal. But for every site I have looked at, I immediately come across tons of reviews telling me they are a scam! So please, could people offer their opinions on where to get started in this tricky business?

fxcm is the best use them as your broker

Fxcm might be a good broker, but their mt4 isn’t an ECN.

If you want an ECN MT4, go with Fxopen or MB Trading.
