Standalone software would be good like MT4. I am using Metatrader but i find the charts are a bit hard to find patterns where as if i look on the charts on Etoro they seem much more distinguised which is what i am looking for. Im also looking for something which has all the same indicators which MT does.
Xtick imo!
Im preferably looking for something free at the moment whilst i find my feet as im not making any real money yet.
The best way i can explain the problem i have is if you look at the two charts below, the left and right are the same chart and time frame yet the chart on the left is much more distinguisable in terms of finding the highs and lows whilst the one on the right looks a bit more flat. Probably not the best example however i have seen much worse charts.
Anything which is more similar to the candles on the left?
How do you make the candles longer to the point they make trends stick out more?
Your three indicator windows are taking up a lot of the available space to view the chart. You can click and drag on the border between the indicator windows to make them wider or narrower and increase the space the actual chart uses.
Then to adjust how big the candles are on the chart, click and hold your mouse in the right column where the prices are listed and drag up and down to make them bigger or smaller.
Your a life saver thanks, very simple to do cheers
I personally find Tradestation to be a great looking and intuative platform. Its much more powerful and robust than MT4. But costs money. IF your looking for free i think MT4 is probably as good as its going to get as far as i have seen.
